It makes me think of a little chipmunk!
So here we are looking through the window into the courtyard!
We'll pretend the glass is nice and clean....
and the leaves haven't blown into the bird bath!
I hope he's not SHY!!!
Because this little Wren just couldn't be happier.
Shake Shake Shake
Which makes us ALL happy too!
Well, maybe all of us except for this little fellow.
What about me?
Isn't there anything left for ME?
I hope you have some sweet birds at your feeders this week too. What have you seen? My Florida blog buddy Pam has already seen hummingbirds at her house! I'm on the lookout for those now too!
How are you doing? Have you been well this week?
We are fine and continue to pray!
I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE
and I’d Rather B Birdin’.

Hello,
Love the sweet Wren and it's friends. The bird bath photos are so cute, they are adorable birds. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, stay well! Enjoy your weekend, Happy Easter! PS, thank you for the visit and comment on my blog.
What a happy morning to come to see your blog and your nature buddies! Thank you soo much for sharing this today! We are fine here, too and can't wait this is all a distant memory. Be safe and Happy Easter.
I haven't seen wrens in ages! So cute!
precious little wren and adorable squirrel. I had a squirrel sitting on the rain barrel yesterday, looking at me through the screen. no photo because I did not see him in time.
...but they have a lot of other cute cousins. Happy Easter to you!
I have my bottle brush starting to bloom so maybe some of those humming birds will come my way soon. I love those little Carolina wrens. I haven't seen one of them in my yard, but down the road I did. I saw what I think is some new cardinals in the area. I really do think they were new...don't ask how. I just watch everyday and maybe I am crazy enough to think they have personalities.:)
What sweet photos - it is nice to have nature entertain us at this time. We have been listening to the Nuthatches in the woods across the street from our house - they sound like a little tin toy trumpet. They love our feeders - suet and seed - and come often. We also have hummingbirds, chickadees, juncos, Flickers, robins and yesterday we heard a raven down by the lake - I love their low, gurgully song. Happy day my dear - enjoy the outdoors as much as possible these days.
I agree that a Carolina Wren is an endearing species. I can hardly believe that voice in so small a bird.
Diane you could write a sweet children's book and illustrate it with some of the great pictures you have captured of the wildlife in your area. That squirrel looks like a perfect title character.:0 Can you tell I watched Charlotte's web for the first time this week?
So cute.....love your pictures.....stay safe....love Ria❤️💋🙏🍀
He sure is enjoying his bath!
What a cute wren. We are seeing lots of birds around our condo-surprised how many and I see that lots of people feed them. We will do that, too, once we are set up and spring sets in. You take really great pictures, Diane. Hugs- Diana
How sweet is that Carolina Wren ♥ !! The cheeky squirrels are so entertaining. Great photos!
i see a great variety of birds at my feeders, i always enjoy looking out the window. the birds have such fun in the bird bath!! we are not allowed to walk or ride our bikes, anywhere but our own neighborhoods, all of our paths are closed!!
best wishes to you, stay safe and stay happy!! happy easter!!
adorable little carolina wren, our house wrens haven't returned yet, but hopefully soon
Bath time! It's really quite adorable!
Happy Easter, Diane!
ha, I filled my 3
birdbaths yesterday, I will have to watch and see who visits. Have a Great Weekend, Sandi
*haha* That little wren... not a care in the world! :-) Yes, our birdfeeders are like an airport... all kind of landings and taking-offs! The starlings arrived a couple weeks ago and oh my goodness, the feeders empty out faster than I can fill them, it seems. But that's ok... everything is hungry. Our wild turkey is back too and it's always a joy to see her. Thank you for these wonderful pictures! Love, Andrea xoxo
Thankfully, I'm fine, too, and lots and lots of prayer. So grateful for the truckers that help keep New York fed. Lots of cooking, but mostly all healthy. Also, lots of kitchen cleaning. Take good care and wishes for a blessed Easter.
That little bird was having a blast! We don't have feeders here. We see Sandhill Cranes and Ibis most often... and squirrels and bunnies. We have lots of bunnies here! I really enjoyed your photos!
Oh he is cute! Makes me smile...a real challenge these days.
The squirrel missed out, he wasn't first in line. :)
Great shots and I love your new header!
Wishing you a Happy Easter and stay safe.
It is a great joy to observe nature!
Beautiful photos !

wow, that´s fun. Love the líttle wren taking a fun bath. So cute. But the squirrel looks worried :)
Hope you have a nice Easter :)
That little wren sure looks like he's enjoying himself.
Cute picture of the squirrel but not a fan of them!!!
Diane, that little wren is adorable with the tuft of feathers sticking up on top of his head. And I love the squirrel standing up on two feet! Such a big little guy! xo
What a sweet post right before Easter, Diane. That little Wren is so cute. Well, I've seen lots of sparrows lately, and there is a baby bird up in the neighbor's tree, and he chirps SO LOUD. Every morning he wakes me up hehehe.
Happy Easter, dear friend.

Hello. Carolina Wren is so cute and beautiful little bird.
Happy Easter. Take care.
Oh, so cute!
Aww, this little birdy looks so happy splashing in the water! I love having birds visit our garden, and we are getting a lot more now due to this lockdown! I even wake up to birdsong which is unusual...normally it is traffic and people shouting!
Mr Squirrel is too cute..how lovely you have squirrels in your yard!
Happy Resurrection Day...may you be blessed!
Very nice photos!
Wishing you sunshine and a basket full of chocolate on this beautiful day.
Happy Easter!
Your squirrels are cuter in Florida. Love the wren series Diane. (Btw...the indigo hunting on my blog is a juvenile. That is why the lack of blue)
Have a blessed Easter my friend. Thanks for sharing your birds & wildlife with us at I'd Rather B Birdin.
Great pictures of the little Wren and the squirrel is so cute.
Wonderful wildlife pictures, thanks for sharing them.
Hugs diane
I love your bird photos, and that little squirrel is just so precious. I do hope he found something tasty to eat too. Our little birds are just starting to come around. I do hope they all come back. You stay safe and have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
It looks like summer there already. I love the wren taking a bath! It just made me laugh. One thing I miss about our new home is not seeing any neighbors except from a distance, and then it is just their cars. I'm so ready to visit with people again.
What a pretty neighborhood. I love that sweet squirrel. Stay safe, especially during this Covid-19 time of uncertainty. Kathi
