Our plans to take some fun day trips were put on hold. Hubby did get a lot of his garage clean out done, just in time!
We are strapping things down outside today and cooking some yummy food to eat as leftovers.
Lots of water stored, extra food and supplies on hand just in case.
Our prayers are for those on the coast of Florida. We are in Ocala for those keeping up with the track of Hurricane Ian. Please keep us in your prayers too and when this is over, I'll give you an update.
I hiked on Monday at the 49th Ave Trailhead....hike #120! I'll be anxious to get back out after this blows through! I'll miss my regulars that walk and bike the Florida trails!
Take care and be safe!
Sweet hugs, Diane

we are sitting at the mouth of Tampa Bay, we may not be here when this is over. Hoping it is not coming the way THEY say it will. they have been wrong before.
Stay safe.
Hello Diane, :=)
The butterfly is super gorgeous, and you took really good photos of it. I hope you will be safe from IAN the storm coming your way.
Take care and watch for those tornadoes. You will be in my prayers! The butterfly is so pretty.
Palm harbor here
Please do keep us posted, Diane. I am keeping a close eye on it as my grandson and family are near Orlando and my 93 year old mother-in-law is also in Florida. I know it must be a very unsettling feeling for all in your state right now. Praying that Ian looses steam and all Floridians stay safe and sound.
Praying for you my dear friend.
I love the photo of the Zebra Longwing, what a lovely butterfly.
Prayets for Safety!
Going out after a storm is scary to me. I prefer to give snakes and such critters time to find new homes away from me.
Stay safe! We are on the coast, but I think the eye of Ian will be just north of us.
Praying for all those in Ian's path. (Gee, I used to like that name.) Glad that you were able to get so much accomplished. Take care and stay safe.
I'm hoping that you will be safe from the storm coming. I enjoyed looking at the pretty photos of the flowers and butterfly. Take care Diane.
You take care. Let us all know how it goes! I hope you don't fare too badly. Our Canadian east coast is just a mess.
Funny my son is called Ian wonder how he likes having a hurricane named after him. Hope you are Ok where you are and keep safe
You take beautiful photos! And yes praying for safety for all.
Your photos are beautiful. Hopefully Ian will be gentle in your area. Stay safe!
That butterfly is gorgeous! You take such great pictures. You will definitely be in my prayers! Stay safe!
Wishing you and yours all the best! Safety first.
I have friends and shirttale relatives in the Ft.Myers/Cape Coral area. Praying for EVERYONE in Ian's path. It's scary stuff. I hope you stay safe and don't feel its fury. Prayers!!! xo Diana
Praying that you'll be safe through the storm.
Stay safe and take care, Diane. Sounds like you are stocked up with essentials. Yes, I'll be saying a prayer. That Zebra butterfly is simply beautiful.

Well here on the East coast--directly across from Orlando--we may be getting more of Ian than you do--but I am all prepped--food and water and even baked some muffins today--( I don't bake much anymore)--I plan to stay here at the senior apartments--this building is all concrete--they will probably close the dinning room on Wednesday and maybe Thursday--but like I said I have plenty of food--I can eat even if the electric goes out--but they say it probably won't as we are on the same grid as the hospital a couple blocks away--only time will tell!!!
Hope we are all safe after this is over--hugs, di
Espero y deseo que todo vaya bien. Tus fotografías están preciosas. Besos.
Pray you will stay save as the storm passes by.
The butterfly picture is spectacular!!!
Pray you stay safe while the storm passes by.
Your photo of the butterfly is spectacular.
We're in the Orlando area and watching this storm very closely. It looks to be very dangerous.
Take care up in Ocala!
Praying you stay safe in the storm. It sounds like you have done what you can. Gorgeous butterfly images.
I am praying you will stay safe, Diane!
I hope all near the coast in Tampa area will evacuate. We saw the high storm surge with Hurricane Sandy when we were in in NY and it was devastating. This hurricane appears to be so much stronger.
Stay safe. I'm praying for you and your family.
Following Ian's track and hoping it continues to miss us, though we will be very wet, one track or another. Praying for safety for all of us! xo
Beautiful photos of the butterflies.
I hope you make it through the hurricane safely.
Greetings Irma
Sending loads of prayers and good wishes your way for a safe time during the hurricane. I worry about the FL people these days!
The Zebra Longwing is gorgeous. I've never seen one in person. They certainly don't come to my yard. Stay safe - we'll talk after Ian leaves Florida.
Thank you for your sweet thoughts of us and we are praying for you all too during this hurricane. Lord keep us all safe. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Diane - have had Florida on my mind all day ... several friends and family there, including you! Lovely butterfly!
Hugs and best wishes....
Your photographs are lovely.
Prayers to keep you safe.
All the best Jan
Hope all is well in Ocala. We've been watching the road cameras in your area because we have family there, too. Fortunately, it looks like things are okay there!
I was just thinking of you last night and wondering if you were okay. We watch the hurricane track with interest still, even though our daughter is no longer in Florida. Stay safe!
Hope you're ok after the storm.
It is a blessing that the storm did not do any real damage where you are. We were good in South Florida too but my cousin's community in Cape Coral was devastated. She is safe but she said it was left like a war zone and they probably will be without electricity and or water for a month.
