“Meandering”

You know we’re going to spend a lot of time at Fletcher Park while we’re here in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

PondIMG_3672

It’s the BEST place to spend the day!

Miles and miles of trails to walk and a pond teaming with wildlife. (doesn’t this little guy look ‘wild’?)

Beautiful Place! Happy Sunday!

We're spending the time indoors because it's raining buckets out there! I favor May more than June because it's cooler. But the daylily flowers this month are always a treat!

I really hope June in the UK lives up to expectations and does not become another month of wet and grey

We reached in the 70s yesterday and it looks promising today, after an evening of rain. The scenery is just beautiful and on my list to visit if we get this house sold, XOXO

Lovely photos.

I thought about your comment that June is your favorite month. I love June because school is always out in June, but coastal California June's are usually gloomy.

Due to your inspiration with that one little comment, I now have a running commentary in my head on what I love about June. Thanks for inducing great thoughts.

Summer is already over in my country. I love the vacation time, minus the excessive heat here ;)

Spending a day or even days at Fletcher Park is an option I wouldn't regret. Everything looks so refreshing and relaxing. You are really blessed namemate. Enjoy your vacay and treat us to more pictures!

Thank you for forever linking up :)

Fletcher Park looks like a quiet place to relax, ¡Oh what a beautiful is nature!. I can imagine the fresh air, the color of plants, the blue sky, a great amount of squirrels, breathing air fresh. It is so relaxing.

Are you operating an ice cream truck?

Vee said...

Yes! Even if I am inside because outside is too hot...another 96F day. So the green of your mosaic is helping me to cool right down. Thanks!

YOur photos are beautiful, that really is a gorgeous place! I can't remember the name of the mountains that we are seeing in the background. Are they the Blue Ridge?

Love the serenity of the lake photo. What a gorgeous place to spend summer.
Here, I will cautiously say that summer has arrived. We rarely have really hot weather but the temperature is very pleasant just now. I was out in the yard this afternoon, feeding the tomatoes and other garden plants and doing some weeding.

These photos are beautiful as usual. That sunset is gorgeous! We have had an evening of thunderstorms--torrential downpours but it has cooled us down nicely. Hope it is cool where you are!

Hi Diane,

I love your first photo; the reflection of the blue sky and clouds in the water is gorgeous! I like the honeysuckle vine in your mosaic; we have lots blooming around our area right now -- so fragrant. Yep, that squirrel looks mighty wild and dangerous. :-D

Thanks for your visit and sweet comments; I hope you have a wonderful week!
