Short and Sweet...I hope!

I am getting a post ready for Monday while we prepare for Hurricane Dorian. I've bought last minute groceries and will be cooking some meals ahead of time and of course we are freezing water bottles. Our generator is handy and both of our vehicles are filled with gas. Hubby has to get the garage in order so that we can pull both cars in and I'm working in the lanai, making sure things are off the floor and magazines and books are in the library. Our lanai has windows on 3 sides so it is more exposed to the wind and rain. Of course we are watching the weather channel and securing things outside too. Please pray that the storm diminishes before it gets to Florida. Thanks!

A week ago we drove over to Blue Run Park and got a hike in. It was fun to see some of our friends that walk there
 regularly.

And I even saw these beautiful English Bulldogs that I met on the Florida Trails awhile back.

Meet Noel and Annabel!

Hope your week is good. Please keep us in your prayers.

I hope..... I’m joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

if I ever do a post that is short and sweet, send emergency vehicles. ha ha
LOVE those bulldogs. I want to hug them.... we are prepared also, but I think you and I are safe... IF it stays on the projected path, I say IF... we watch and wait and hope it goes North and way far to the EAST

That is a powerful storm. Stay well. Evacuate sooner rather than later.

I have been watching the weather channel and it is so frustrating because no one has any idea where it might make landfall. We have family in Savannah so we are concerned for them. Sounds like you have a busy day ahead. Stay Safe sweet friend.

Praying it stays far enough out to not be bad, but I am sure you are going to get more rain than you need! Stay safe.

Thinking of you my friend!! Hope this storm just GOES BACK OUT TO SEA and doesn't come out way. Our storm plan in place though, we are just waiting to see her estimated time of arrival and strength. It's a bit rainy here today but we've had sunshine as well. The birds are feeding like CRAZY!!---they must sense the coming storm.

Diane - I am watching the weather closely and praying for all my friends and family in Florida. Current news does seem to suggest landfall sometime late Tuesday … Take care of yourselves, first and foremost! Thanks for taking the time to link to Mosaic Monday in the midst of your other preparations!

I've been thinking about you and others I know in Florida. It looks like Dorian is going to avoid much damage in Florida, but oh the devastation in the Bahamas. So very tragic.

From today's weather forecast it looks like Dorian is not moving far from the Bahamas. Hopefully, it will winddown (sorry, that could be taken as a pun). Prayers to you and of Florida and all the east coast! We have family in North Carolina. Know a lot of well wishes are headed towards you and neighbors!
