That's what friends are for!

I'm very blessed to have some precious friendships. My hubby is my soul mate and very best friend and it's always more fun to hike with him. Well, unless he is taking photos of me from the back! lol

And my sweet cousin Cindy has been a life long best friend. She calls to talk...and listen! And she inherited my Grandmother's talent for making the most beautiful quilts.

Today I am going to a luncheon with my friends in the neighborhood. That's always fun!

This is a photo taken a few months ago. (we have a luncheon once a month) You can probably pick me out! lol

I've even started walking in the evenings with a sweet group of ladies. We walk and talk as fast as we can and the time just flies by!

I hope you are blessed with good friends! That's something to be thankful for today!

You cannot have too many friends that is for sure and they just become more precious. So glad I have blog friends too that I hope to meet in person one day. Wouldn't it be fun if we could all have a blog friend get together. We might never stop talking.:)

Walking with a group of friends is priceless,
I cannot wait for the retirement of my wife (3 years again) to do long walks with her (now I run and I walk solo).

Diane, I wish I could walk with all my blog friends. :) A friend is a gift we give ourselves, not my quote but I love it. You lady are doing well. I loved reading that your husband was your best friend. That's how I feel about my Teddy. Blessings for a great weekend, xoxo, love you, Susie

How wonderful to get together with friends once a month. Yes, I noticed you in the picture right away. That quilt is beautiful that your cousin made. I've always thought it was such a talent to sew quilts. So much time and love goes into making one. It looks just like you with the purple colors, so pretty. Friendships are wonderful, and my best friend moved back, as she lived in Colorado for many years. Your "friendship" books looks so old and nice.

How nice to have so many friends in your life.
I'm a bit of a loner. I have friends at work but we don't socialize outside of work.

Oh my goodness what a beautiful quilt!! Those bring back so many nice memories for me as both my Ma-Maws made so many lovely quilts. And they made them the old fashioned way. Thats a great picture of you with your friends.....looks like a fun bunch for sure! What y'all got planned for this weekend, any hiking coming up?Oh, yes, I found the pictures of my little toy stove, I'll go email them to you ok? Hugs, my friend!

I envy you! My friends are few, well, none nearby, and far between. We moved into an old community, women with long-entrenched friendships. I just don't fit in. I guess I'm really happy for you!

Oh wouldn't that be fun and evening walk with friends. We had to cancel our early morning Bangkok walking this week as the pollution levels in Asia are really high at the moment due to the Indonesian fires - enjoy! I am lucky to have some great friends here too.
Have a wonderful weekend.
