Flocks of Pine Warblers

The weather has been perfect for hiking and I would go every day.....if I could!

There are flocks of Pine Warblers all through the forest and even in our front yard.

I'm sharing a few of my favorite photos from this week.

And cropping them to see up close.

It's supposed to get a little cooler so we'll see what other birds fly through this weekend.

What's the weather like at your house?

Our highs or in the 70s with a nice breeze that makes if feel even cooler.

And with the dampness there are lots of mushrooms and pretty wildflowers in the forest.

We don't pick them but it's fun to come home and do a search to learn more about them.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful! I love the first photo best but they are all so interesting and so much lovely detail! You must love your life - getting to see and record such beauty in nature everyday! You inspire me to look closer to what is around me! Thanks so much!

Mushrooms are plentiful here in MS right now, but most of the wildflowers are gone - just a few left. Temps were below freezing early this morning, but warming up a bit now, then cold again tonight.
Great photos of the Pine Warblers!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Such beautiful photos of the Pine Warbler. I've never seen one. It really is a beautiful little bird, especially framed behind all those wispy leaves. Your wildflowers and mushroom photos are really nice too. Here in New England, it is cold and there are no flowers left blooming. Temps get really cold at night as winter is settling in here. I can't wait for my vacation to Florida to get here. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

It is chilly here this morning but warming up later which is pretty typical for November. I love the tree the bird is in, Diane. You catch such lovely photos.

Beautiful cropping! The photos look calendar worthy. It’s cold here...25° with a brisk breeze that makes it feel colder. No snow, though, so I am not complaining.

Oh, I love your Pine Warbler photos! I think some were flying through our trees this week, but I wasn't able to catch any pictures. Looks like they stayed around long enough for you to enjoy! I also love to take pictures of different kinds of mushrooms, and no, we don't touch them either. But there are so many interesting ones, aren't there? Thank you for sharing your photos. I truly enjoyed them. And isn't this weather glorious?

A most wonderful time of year for birding in the south!! You've some terrific photos of the warblers (ANY warbler is a difficult subject to get a good picture of it 'cause the flit around so much) and your flora today is very pretty! Stopping by I'd Rather B Birdin this week and sharing your link is appreciated...thanks! And ps...thanks for visiting & commenting at Hootin' Anni's)

It must be wonderful to see a few Pine Warblers. Even better to see whole flocks of them. I guess your in the middle of migration time for these northern beauties?

Here in Scandinavia it is now too late for mushrooms anymore...

These little Warblers are sweet. I see them around here sometimes. Their yellow body is cheerful and always bring a smile. These pictures are pretty with him hiding in the wispy tree branches. The last one looks like he's plating peek a boo with you hehehe.

I love those fungi! Weather sounds lovely there...looking forward ! (It’s not too bad here in Western Oregon. I don’t know how our friends in that Arctic Blast country can stand it!)
