Walk this way little girl....

....come down this trail!

Hurry past the big scary spidey.....

and squeeze past the ghostie on the left.

Don't wander off the trail where the other ghosties live....

just keep on walking!

These were on a bike trail on the Florida Trails THIS WEEK (the middle of November). It has something to do with a big bike race they have every year. I sneaked down it just enough to get some photos.

No bikes were encountered AND no hikers were harmed...or even skeeeered...in the taking of this hike! heeheehee!

So what do you say?

Wanna go walking with me in the deep dark forest?

I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

...spooktacular!!!

I wonder who put them all up? Took time and commitment obviously, and then I assume they were removed after Halloween. If they had included sound effects after dark that might have spooked a few people.

Thanks for the comments! It was a fun post to write. And I went back and added a little more explanation into what was going on. I saw these just a couple of days ago and they must have been put up for a bike race they were having (maybe over the weekend). It was neat to see! You just never know WHAT you'll see when you get out in the forest!!!

Hello,

Fun decorations and post. Instead of a haunted house, you have a haunted trail. Very cool. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!

What a great idea to decorate the woodsy trail with ghosties and spiders. Someone had a lot of fun decorating. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Interesting take on a haunted house. On our travels I saw a sign for a haunted farm tour. I couldn't see inside but it looked like a corn maze gone real scary. - Margy

Diane - no, I am not skeeered (sound of teeth chattering). Right. Some of the ghosties seem to be friendly, but it would still be creepy to walk this on my own … Thanks for the belly laugh today, and for linking to Mosaic Monday!

I wouldn't be interested in the scary part at all, but the trail did look lovely! Always fun to visit with you Diane :)

I don't think I would want to walk that path along just as it's turning dark :-))

That is really very cool but wish it was pre-Halloween. LOL What fun for a kid to go along that trail. xo Diana

That must have been an unusual sight to see, Diane. That last one looks so real. This looks like a nice trail for the bikers to go on. It would be scary to see those at night, eeeeek. : )
