We are back in Florida and I’ve been working hard.
Oh…well….I might have played a little too!
Peek inside the precious little cradle that I bought in NC a couple of weeks ago. I posted more pics of it HERE.
Now that we are back home, Emma Marie has claimed it for her bed. And I used all kinds of vintage finds for her pretty bed.
A vintage Chenille bedspread for the mattress, an old chenille sham for her pillow (half of the tassels are gone but don’t tell!), and a vintage baby blanket.
She’s even holding a vintage bear and one old lamb….and one newer one are keeping her company.
The lighting wasn’t good for these photos.
But doesn’t it give a nice soft effect.
I love finding vintage things for my dollies and the cradle is special!
I’m joining the Vintage Inspiration Link party HERE,
Ivy and Elephants HERE
and Tweak it Tuesday!

I think we're all saying: "Aww..." right now!
Diane, I love this cradle and all that is in it. Your doll looks like a real baby. Hope you have a wonderful day. xoxo,Susie
Adorable. Didn't your babies miss you while you were gone? It is probably nice be home and to return to your routine. The little bed is a treasure, especially since Emma enjoys sit so much.
That is too cute!!
Very sweet Diane. I have a doll sized Bunk Bed that a friend's husband made for me so that my grandgirls can enjoy it. I often find myself putting them to bed and covering them with the little crocheted blankets I made for them.
We are SO on the same page! I am really enjoying the book A Light Between Oceans and I just put a little cradle out on the porch that I had picked up several years ago practically for free. I also have a bigger cradle my dad made for my children when they were babies. I'm thinking they will hold my toys that I am making...at least until they get sent to some sweet little girl or boy. Yours is precious along with the "baby doll" and your vintage linens. The little lambs and teddy are too cute!
This is so sweet. The doll is adorable and the vintage cradle is a great find. Have a beautiful day, Diane.
How sweet! Welcome back to your Florida home!
Welcome home to Florida! I love the cradle!

Welcome back from North Carolina. Emma Marie looks so cute and cozy in her new bed with her soft vintage linens. See you at the Vintage Inspiration Party tonight:-)
I know your dolls were waiting for that cradle to get home! Adorable!
Glad you are back in Florida!

Linda
Emma Marie is precious, Diane. Her cradle is all set up and looking very nice. There's nothing like an old teddy bear to hold and love.
Have a sweet day.
love,

Emma Marie certainly looks comfy in her new bed. I admire a girl who goes after what she wants...and gets it!!
What a sweet little dolly in her darling cradle! My daughter loved baby dolls and I still have every one. I'm waiting for a precious grandchild to share them with - one of these days.....Hugs xo Karen
That is a precious baby doll. I love the little cradle, too. xo Diana
Welcome back to FL! It seems like you just left, wow that went fast! Your doll and crib and everything vintage is so adorable and the doll looks so real! Take care.
Julie
Look how happy she is. She is so happy to have you home. xo Laura
My baby girl had a baby that looked like this and she had a cradle just like this one. We still have both in the attic. Can't wait to get them out for my little girls. They are a bit more "used", not as pretty as yours. I love this baby. It reminds me of my little girl. That's why I gave her one like this.
Such darling photos!! Love your very sweet crib, blankets, doll and her sweet toys! Everything is just so adorable! Those last couple pictures really do look like such a nice "soft" effect! :) xo Holly
So sweet. I have a thing for doll beds. Yours is so cute.

Oh, Little Emma Marie is simply adorable in her new crib. I bet she loves all that soft chenille to sleep on, too. I swear she looks real! And you got a Suzy Homemaker stove, I love it!! We must get together and play with our toys. :-)
Have a great day,

My mother in law made me so many of those vintage style laced border baby blankets for both of my children. I saved them all. :) Love this.
