Plan B...and BEYOND!

I always feel pretty good if after breakfast I am only on Plan B! I wake up with Plan A firmly in place hoping to accomplish certain things but A(lways) have to switch gears! If I can't do one thing, I do another...or maybe I should say I O(verdo) another!

I've had some headaches lately. And I NEVER have H(eadaches). But I haven't been able to hike as much so I U(sed) my time to work on photos and get some things done on my computer. Oh and read!

I'm reading a 'new to me' series by Michael Stanley set in Botswana, one of my most favorite countries to read about  K(ubu) is a wonderful character. These are books I can NOT put down!

So guess what happened next? Plan C....I had to stay off of my computer and IPADs for awhile. I think the headaches are caused by E...eye strain. J(ust) when Y(ou) think things can't get W(orse)!

I even chose to listen to an audio book with my eyes closed. O....my! This is hard to do when the sun is shining outside and I want to go H (ike)! F(orget) about that this W(eek). It's a S(corcher) here in F(lorida)! But I do L(ove) a good book!

D(on't) worry though....it seems like it helped!

So I'm on to T(hankful) T(hursday) to be T(hankful) for my day and all the I(nteresting) things I have to do!

G(otta) R(un)! M(aybe) I should Q(uit) playing on my computer and V(acuum) a carpet R(ight) N(ow) and stop P(laying) silly games trying to figure out words that start with X Y Z

W(ait)....did I leave out any letters? Do I have to take a 'time out' now?

All photos taken on the Florida Trails, hike #73, a pleasant hike I took by myself.

Oh did I mention the roof was leaking? That's enough to make you say #@xyz!!!

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays and

I like Thursdays HERE too!

...my philosophy is, days start with expectations end with experiences. Most of the time planning is a waste of time.

You did a great job with the alphabet! And the pictures of course are beautiful and yes we are hot down here too! This morning he said the high will be 92 with feels like 102 I have a hard time when I get up and I have a plan a switching to b or c. I get really upset if a doesn't work

Oh, leave it to you to find a new series that I will have to write down! So sorry you're having headaches. I'm sure it is probably eye strain or the barometric pressure is dropping. I get a headache before a storm usually. I think I have a weather station in my head! I hope you feel better and enjoy your book(s)!

Hello,

I get the occasional headaches, it maybe from too much reading.
Love the hike scenes and the your pretty flowers. Pretty capture of the Towhee singing. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

Hi Diane! I enjoyed all of your photos today. Nice use of most of the letters of the alphabet and working them into your dialogue. I'm sorry about the leaking roof. That's not only a pain in the butt but usually an expensive one. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

Love your working your way through the alphabet to get things done.
It seems most of the time Plan B is do-able.
Hope you can go out and hike...breathe in different air and take a photo or two.
Love your tropical flower pictures.

Oh no! A leaking roof? With all of this rain we've been having? I am so sorry! I do hope you will be able to get it fixed soon before hurricane season gets into full swing. I am sorry to hear about your headaches. Could it be sinuses? I've noticed more headaches and allergies because of all the rain I think...molds or something in the air...more grasses and trees blooming. I don't know. But I just can't stay indoors all the time either. We try to get out early before it gets too hot, and then go again later after supper when the sun moves downward enough. Please take care and feel better soon. Loved your post and all the little wildflowers, etc. I love to see them along the way.

I loved how you did the ABC's in this post --very clever! I also hope you feel better, Diane. I rarely get headaches but when I do they are from a sinus infection pressure weather-related.

Sorry about your headaches. I've been having them almost daily lately. I think it is stress. Hope you can get out and hike soon. This heat is so stifling!

The book recommendation sounds good. I'm sorry for your headaches - would a new eye prescription help? Great job of the XYZ post!

Oh my goodness Diane, you are so clever and incredible smiling through everything. I hope resting you4 eyes works. (So therefore I hope you don’t even read this comment for w while until you feel much better.). Headaches are definitely *no* fun (I get one when the barometer changes so at least I can tell you when it’s going to rain ... except I don’t talk to anybody then).

I'm drawn to your book recommendation... going to go look for it. I hope you start feeling better soon! I find it so easy to strain my eyes these days.

Wishing you a pleasant weekend.

Cleverly done! I hope the ABC weaving distracted you from the headaches. Your photo of the white flower is stunning!

Glad you found a good book to read while you're healing, and so sorry to hear you have had some headaches. Yes, when I'm on the computer for too long, my eyes will strain, so I think it's wise to take a break from it for awhile. I only wear glasses for reading small print, but like you, it's been awhile since I had an eye exam. That white flower is so dainty and pretty. Love that one. : )
