Hike #68 I’m Seeing Things!

It was a rather quiet day on the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway (West trail).

I saw a precious little Warbler.

There are flocks of them all along the trail but very hard to get pics. They are shy!

So I looked around and saw an unusual bush.

Oh and some ‘monsters’ in the woods.

This one might be another giant bird! lol

(don’t worry, they are only old dead trees or logs)

A pretty cluster of berries,

and even the moon overhead.

Oh and remember when we saw the MACK truck on the trail at HTP? When I got to the Florida Greenway, they had dug up the firebreak road here too. That’s a very good thing! Keeps our homes safe if a fire breaks out.

Did you see anything unusual this week?

Stay tuned! We’ll be hiking again soon!

Lovely moon shot.

I haven't been outside much this week. This is a habit I have to break

It is amazing how birds can be so well hidden in their habitat!

sweet little yellow birds and I like your monsters to. nothing unusual that I can remember, I did talk with Miss Molly a Golden Retreiver that walks with her daddy in our neighborhood. she carries her leash in her mouth and walks her dad. saw a cat, talked to a man about his car, pointed out he had a flat, oh no he says. that is my unusual times today. going to Pulix in a few minutes. BB is sleeping on Bob's lap... not much for sure

Great hike and you did see things. I had tow wonder if the little yellow warbler was one that visits my garden on it ways to wherever, Canada, maybe. He flies through here in the spring and on his return to trip home. I never knew where his home is. Apparently he is a true Snow Bird. Great walk.

Oh, I love those little yellow birds, and see them around here too. Nothing out of the ordinary this week, but I've been wanting to get back to nature with all the Christmas to-do lists that we have. Your post gave me some nature peace today, Diane. I see a snowman face on your moon pic. : )

always treasure to be found, I like to let my imagination go also. those birds never stay still in a flock, maybe too much to eat in a group

Love to see you photos. Never seen a little warbler. What a nice bird! I saw a great white egret yesterday. I tried to take a picture. He flew up. The photo failed. But it was so beautiful to see.

Charming birds and beautiful woods,Diane.
Your hike is always exciting.I enjoy taking a walk with you today.

It has been so long sine I visited you the last.
Actually,it was a big surprise to find Susan Branch's blog through your former post.
I like her painting and sometimes I get her calendar through Amazon.

Happy weekend!
